HAVAHART – STANDARD TRAP

Posted on March 3, 2022 By tnrprogram No Comments on HAVAHART – STANDARD TRAP

I have used 2 different HavAHart traps. With the 1089, I have never lost a cat using. The 1092 is easy to setup and to release the cat, but it has one problem and that is that the gate can be pushed open by a large cat. I have learned to use carabiners to hold it shut. The Havaharts are very large and can handle different sized cats easily. The one issue I have is being able to house the cats overnight or more. They are not easy to use to keep the trap clean or to feed the cat inside. I usually like to use them as my last trap of the day so that I do not have to have them in it long. Here is a video on how to take a new 1089 out of the box and setup.
